Customer Box Inclusion/Exclusion TableThis table is a simplistic table that is used to define those box types that are included or excluded for a specific customer during the read-in/dimensioning process. Put very simply, it implies that you will be able to eliminate and/or include (your choice) certain boxes for specific customers. Your choice inclusion/exclusion will determine which boxes will be used to ship material to specific customers as defined in this table.
Customer Number – The Customer Number is the SAP Customer Number that we read-in during the download of the deliveries from SAP to WaveTrak. It is important to recognize once more that the customer number created in this table must match the SAP customer number exactly. Therefore, please enter the data after confirming the SAP customer number.
Box I.D. – The Box I.D. is the Box I.D. you have identified as wanting to be included or excluded for a specific customer. The logic behind having the ability to choose to include or exclude boxes is to allow you to exclude if there are a small number of boxes that you wish to exclude. You will need to identify all the box types you wish to exclude. The reverse is true as well; if there are a small number of Box Types you wish to include you will need to add each of these box types to the table.
For example, let’s assume that you have (50) box types in your Box Definition Table. You only wish to prevent dimensioning into (5) of those (50) boxes. In this example, you would “Exclude” those (5) boxes, leaving the balance (45) box types available for dimensioning for this customer. Therefore, those (45) box types would be “included”
The reverse example would be that you only wanted (5) boxes “Included” for a specific customer. This would mean that only the (5) box types you included (stamped with an “I”) for this specific customer would be used for dimensioning. The balance (45 box types) would be excluded. The logic is in place only to simplify the actions required to define the box types required by customer.
Status - The Status indicator is used to define whether you are choosing to “I” (include) or “E” (exclude) a box type for a specific customer.;
